Add tasks and move around the Kanban board

Create tasks, drag them across columns to update status, and edit everything from a quick-view popup — without ever leaving the board.

  1. 1

    Create a task

Open Tasks from the main menu and click New Task. Every task needs a title; from there add a description, status, priority, dates, a project, tags, and estimated hours as needed.

    Meet the board

The Kanban view lays your tasks out as cards in columns by status — Todo, In Progress, Review, Done. Each column shows a count, and priorities and tags are color-coded so you can scan the board at a glance.

Drag a card to change its status

Grab any card and drop it in another column — the status updates automatically, no save needed. This is the fastest way to keep the board honest as work moves along.

Click a card for the quick view

Clicking a card opens a quick-view popup — no page load. Edit the status, due date, priority, assignees, and tags inline, write a formatted description, and drag-and-drop attachments right there.

Log time and comment without leaving the board

Use the hours badge on a card to log time in place, or the comment icon to drop a quick note — type # to link another task or @@ to mention a teammate. For sub-tasks and full history, hit Open full details.
